TIDI's soft foam Posey Heel Guards are utilized in hospitals and are perfect for home care, providing protection for the lower leg and foot to prevent skin breakdown. These heel guards serve as a high resilience foam off-loading device for the heel, floating it and reducing the risk of foot drop. An open heel cutout suspends the heel to help decrease the likelihood of skin irritation and pressure injuries. Designed for comfort, the heel and side ventilation holes promote air circulation to dissipate heat, while the outer lining reduces friction and shear.

Adjustable features include an elevation block to optimize positioning and heel lift, as well as adjustable straps for controlling foot drop. The foam protectors come in a universal size of 12" long x 7.5" tall (30 cm x 19 cm) and are latex-free. One pair of foam heel protectors is included per package.
