The backpack features adjustable and contoured straps for comfort, a larger and more cushioned waistband to distribute weight onto hips, a sternum strap to keep shoulder straps in place, and load lifters to shift weight off shoulders. It also has new quick-release industrial strength metal cam style buckles for easy open and close. In addition, it comes with a large carpet square for cleaning shoes.
There is a combination of metal cam style buckles, webbing, and flaps to securely hold your gear or another pad. The backpack also includes easy access handles for quick transportation from boulder to boulder without needing to close the pad. The padding consists of 3" open cell foam sandwiched between a 1" layer on top and bottom.
The open size of the backpack is 48" x 36" x 5" (122 cm x 91 cm x 12.7cm) and the closed size is 24" x 36" x 11" (61 cm x 91 cm x 28cm). It is made of 900d Poly and water repellant coated fabric for durability and protection.
